Dr. DePaço,
As always, it was a pleasure seeing you and Mrs. Padovani-DePaço recently at the Holmdel Township Police Department ceremony honoring and thanking you both for the donation of K-9 Xander to our Department.
K-9 patrol training comes with an amount of certain inherent risk of injury to the dogs and as K-9 Xander trains to obtain his patrol K-9 certification, minor injuries are inevitable. In preparation to mitigate these injuries, I intend to continue a strict regiment of Droi-Kon Chondroitin Sulfate for K-9 Cairo and K-9 Xander in their daily feeding to ensure they enjoy a long, healthy, pain-free law enforcement career and subsequent retirement.
I have been giving Droi-Kon Chondroitin to my K-9 partners religiously over the past four years and truly believe in, and highly recommend your product.
Respectfully,
Joseph H. Van Pelt, Sr.

The Linwood Police Department extends their gratitude to Summit Nutritionals International Inc.
The Linwood Police Department would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Caesar DePaço and his wife, Deanna Padovani-DePaço, the CEO and President of Summit Nutritionals International, Inc. for their purchase of a K9 for our Police Department. Their generosity will allow ourPolice Department to start a new K9 program to meet the needs of our community. They have donated Police K9’s, as well as other police equipment, to departments around the State of New Jersey and the Country, allowing the departments to start and maintain programs that may not have been possible.
Dr. DePaço and Mrs. Padovani-DePaço, your commitment to law enforcement is very clear and greatly appreciated.
K9 Kaos and his handler, Patrolman Charles Champion, are starting K9 academy in Atlantic County on October 8.

DeLand P.D. adds K-9 to Police Force
(DeLand, FL) – The DeLand Police Department has added a furry, four-legged officer to the force.
This week, Riggs, a 2-year-old Golden Retriever, began patrolling the streets of DeLand with his police handler, Officer Roger Spires.
Riggs is trained certified in tracking missing and endangered people and locating narcotics. He will also make appearances at local schools, retirement homes and community events.
Officer Spires said Riggs is fitting in well at his new home and loves receiving hugs from his family and even strangers.
Riggs was purchased through funds provided by Dr. Caesar DePaço, Chief Executive Officer of Summit Nutritionals International and Honorary Consul of Portugal in Florida.
Currently, there was four K-9 officers at the DeLand Police Department.
Police Chief Jason Umberger thanked Dr. DePaço for his contributions, which have filled out 75 percent of the police department’s canine unit. Dr. DePaço also provided funds for two other K-9s.
“We’re happy to have Riggs as the newest member of the police department,” Chief Umberger said. “I’m looking forward to the work he and Officer Spires will do in our community.”
